We do not require you to provide your email, create an account, or share any other personal data to use Swipe Cleaner. You can begin using the app immediately. We do not maintain a user backend, and we do not log you in or associate your usage with an identity.
To do its job, Swipe Cleaner requires access to your device's photo library. When you grant this permission, the app scans your photos and videos directly on your iPhone in order to identify duplicates, similar images, screenshots, large files, and other items you may want to remove.
This access is used solely to display your media inside the app so that you can review it and decide what to delete. Your photos and videos are read on the device only. They are never copied, transmitted, uploaded, or stored on any server, and they are never shared with us or with any third party.
You can grant or revoke photo library access at any time in the iOS Settings app, under Privacy & Security → Photos → Swipe Cleaner. Without photo access, the core cleaning features of the app cannot function.
All scanning, duplicate detection, similarity analysis, and cleanup happen locally on your device. Swipe Cleaner does not rely on cloud servers, external processing, or third-party services to analyze your media. Because everything runs on the device, your content stays private to you.
When you choose to delete photos or videos with Swipe Cleaner, the items are removed through the standard iOS deletion process and moved to your device's "Recently Deleted" album, where they remain recoverable for a limited time according to iOS rules before being permanently erased. Swipe Cleaner always shows you a review screen before any deletion, so nothing is removed without your explicit approval.
Because we never store copies of your media, there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. Deleting the app from your device removes the app entirely.
Swipe Cleaner offers optional in-app subscriptions and a one-time purchase to unlock premium features. All payments, billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details, card numbers, or billing information. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account → Subscriptions.
Under applicable data protection laws, you have certain rights concerning your personal data, which may include the right to access, correct, or erase it. Because Swipe Cleaner does not collect or store your personal data, your photos, videos, and usage remain entirely under your control on your own device.
