Nottery AI ("We" or "us") is committed to protecting and respecting your ("you" or "user") personal data privacy and complying with data protection principles and provisions under applicable laws. The information that is shared with us helps us to provide a great experience with Nottery AI.
We do not require you to provide your email or any other personal data to start using Nottery AI. You can begin using the app immediately, and a random user ID will be assigned to you. This ID is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
We store audio recordings recorded by you with Nottery AI or imported into the app. These recordings are stored on our secure servers so that you can access your data from any device at any time, without relying on third-party backups. All data is encrypted.
You can explicitly delete all your audio recording data from the Nottery AI application. Once deleted, the recordings are permanently erased, and no copies or backups are retained. There is no way to restore deleted recordings.
Your data is stored in data centers provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Amazon S3 storage. AWS is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, which is a widely recognized standard for information security management systems (ISMS). All data is stored using server-side encryption with Amazon S3 managed keys (SSE-S3) to ensure that local engineers or physical intruders cannot access your data.
Unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, the personal data you provide will be stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill our obligations in relation to the provision of the Services. You can delete your audio recording data using the "Delete" option inside the application.
Nottery AI is a cloud-based service. When you use Nottery AI, we process your data to enable speech-to-text transcription services, deliver your audio recordings history, and sync your recordings across devices, all without relying on third-party cloud storage or backups.
Nottery AI may rely on third-party services for voice-to-text conversion. If you choose to convert audio recordings into text, your audio data may be shared with third-party services in order to generate a transcribed version. Similarly, Nottery AI may use OpenAI for AI-based text processing, such as summarization or rewriting, where the text data you provide may be shared for processing.
Rest assured, only audio and text data are shared with third-party services, and no other personal information (such as your IP address or account details) is shared. According to the agreement between Nottery AI and these third-party services, we will pay for the transcription, summarizing and highlights on your behalf; third-party services will only use the data to provide the transcription, summarizing and highlights, not for any other purposes.
Under applicable data protection laws, you have certain rights concerning your personal data. These rights may include the right to access, correct, or erase your Personal Data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in Section 7.
You can delete all your audio recordings data at any time inside the app.

Your Google Calendar data (calendar list and event details) is shared with Recall.ai (https://www.recall.ai), a third-party meeting intelligence provider we use to enable meeting recording and transcription linked to your calendar events. Recall.ai receives only the minimum data necessary to perform this function and is contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose. Recall.ai's privacy practices are described in their Privacy Policy.
No Google user data is sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or any other third parties.
Google account data (name, email address) and calendar metadata are stored on our secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS), using server-side encryption (SSE-S3). Data shared with Recall.ai is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel only.
Google user data is retained for as long as your Nottery AI account remains active. You may revoke Google Calendar access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
